There are literally hundreds of characters in the game, and you can control and battle with up to 25 of them at once. That is, as far as we know, the highest number of characters you can control at once in any gacha RPG, possibly even in any RPG period. All in all, there are seven different races in the game, including Humans, Giants, Undines, and more. As you would expect, each character has different abilities that can be powered up via the gacha mechanic. From what we’ve seen of the game so far, if you don’t like Brave Frontier or the gacha model at all, The Last Summoner won’t convert you.
