Apple won’t include a headphone jack dongle with its $1,000 iPhone XS

If you want wired listening with the new iPhone XR, XS, or XS Max, then you’ll have to buy the Apple dongle separately. The newest iPhone iterations, the iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max no longer include a complimentary Apple dongle like previous iterations that lacked the headphone jack. Although its inclusion was a small gesture, the absence could rub customers the wrong way. After all, a one-time payment for the base model iPhone XS Max is $1,099. You’d think the trillion-dollar company could afford to provide users with an adapter. Granted, many users who listen via true wireless or traditional wireless earbuds may not care about the omission.
