What’s your favorite Android version of all time? (Poll of the Week)

Last week’s poll summary: Last week, we asked you what Google should call its next Galaxy S flagship. Out of almost 50,000 total votes, the overwhelming majority of voters said Samsung should name it the Galaxy S10, while second place goes to the Galaxy SX. Third place, surprisingly, goes to Galaxy S10 Plus ThinQ (lol). Android 9.0 Pie is here and brings plenty of new features and usability tweaks to our favorite operating system. Gesture controls are great, and I love Digital Wellbeing so far — but those features don’t automatically put Android Pie up there as my favorite version of Android. Also readAndroid 9 Pie review: Closing the gap The Android 9 Pie release is the proof in the proverbial pudding that Android as an operating system has hit its stride. Lacking neither underlying features or surface polish, Android 9 Pie is the most … My favorite version of Android would have to be 8.0 Oreo, the build that’s installed on a little more than 12 percent of Android devices. Specifically, notification channels and picture-in-picture mode — two features that debuted with Oreo — changed the way I use my phone every day. But you might feel differently. Android 7 Nougat brought multi-window, Android 6.0 Marshmallow brought Google Now on Tap, and Android Lollipop brought us the first iteration of Material Design. Android has definitely had some good releases over the years, and we want to know your favorite. Cast your vote in the poll below, and tell us why you voted that way in the comments.
