Moto E5 Plus and E5 Play now available at T-Mobile starting at $150 (Updated)

Update, July 29 at 12:03 p.m. ET: It’s official — the Moto E5 Plus and E5 Play are now available on T-Mobile. The beefier Moto E5 Plus, which comes with 32GB of built-in storage, can be yours for $225 outright or $9 down and $9 a month for 24 months. The Moto E5 Play comes with just 16GB of storage and is available for $150 outright or $6 down and $6 a month for 24 months. You can check out both devices at the links below. ET: Yesterday, we got news that Samsung accidentally leaked an image, name, and model number of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch. T-Mobile must have wanted to get in on the fun because we’ve also found accidentally-leaked info about two budget phones coming this week. The Motorola Moto E5 Play recently landed on Verizon, Cricket, and Boost Mobile, and the Motorola Moto E5 Plus previously landed on Sprint. We had no news on the devices hitting T-Mobile, but now we do via support pages for both devices. The launch of the Moto E5 and Moto G6 lines has been incredibly confusing, with certain variants only launching in certain countries and prices differing between both location and carrier. However, it’s likely Motorola is only anticipating buyers picking up one of these smartphones directly from their carrier in-store, so most consumers will not know just how confusing the launch really is.
