Essential begins offering even more accessories for the PH-1 including USB Type-C headphones

When the Essential Phone was announced, one of the key selling points was that the company would begin selling its own lineup of accessories for the device. However, we have not seen any new accessories launched, other than the 360-degree camera attachment which launched alongside the phone itself. Yesterday during CES 2018, Essential announced a lineup of new accessories which have been specifically designed to be paired with the Essential Phone. While some of these accessories are available for purchase starting today, there are others that will be coming at a later, unspecified, date. These may look like your basic, run-of-the-mill headphones, but these actually feature a USB Type-C connector, along with a 9.2mm High-Resolution driver, all for just $99. Essential is also offering the new “Earphones Mini” which don’t offer Hi-Res audio capabilities but still do feature a USB Type-C connector, meaning you won’t have to worry about dongles. These are priced at just $49 and are available starting today while including some earbud tips and a carrying case. Perhaps the biggest addition to the Essential online storefront is a new 27W fast charger, which will ensure that your Essential Phone gets recharged as fast as possible. This charging block also features a USB Type-C cable, so you won’t have to worry about picking one up after the fact, and the set is priced at $39. One of the most anticipated accessories coming to the market soon is the new Essential Phone “Click Connector Dock”. This will allow you to wirelessly charge your Essential Phone, a feature that has been requested for quite some time, considering the fact that the technology is already included in the device. Pricing for this dock has not been shared yet.
