Google Assistant will soon help you find an electrician or plumber

Google’s goal to make Google Assistant your ultimate personal assistant is coming along nicely. We’ve seen new features added, new languages supported, and improvements to make its speech sound even more natural. Now, Google is making it even easier to find nearby services like an electrician or plumber. To begin your search, say “Ok Google, find me a plumber” to your Android phone, iPhone, or Assistant-enabled speaker. Assistant will ask you a couple of follow-up questions like what exactly you need the plumber for (unclogging a drain, installing a facet, etc.) and confirm the address where you need them. It’ll then give you a list of plumbers with some basic information about each of them. Once you’ve found the one you want to work with, Google Assistant will initiate a call for you.
