You can now reply to messages right from your Fitbit Charge 3

Fitbit is rolling out quick replies and the ability to accept/reject calls from the Charge 3. The company also announced that the Special Edition model is now on sale. There’s still no word on a wider rollout for the Charge 3’s Sleep Score feature, however. One of my biggest gripes in my Fitbit Charge 3 review was that, at least at the time of review, it almost felt like a beta product. Many of the advertised features weren’t available yet despite the device already being on sale. That’s starting to change, as Fitbit has just announced a new update for the Charge 3. The most notable new feature in this software update is the addition of quick replies for Android users. Now, if you receive a notification on your Charge 3, you can reply to it right from the tracker. I love this feature on the Fitbit Versa, and I’m assuming it will work just as well here. Fitbit Charge devices are some of the most popular fitness trackers in the world, likely because … The new update also brings the ability to accept/reject phone calls from the Charge 3, as well as a new fireworks celebration when you meet your daily step goal. Users should also see weight, hydration, and exercise tiles in the Charge 3’s on-device dashboard. Fitbit’s not in the clear, though. The Charge 3 is still missing the dynamic health insights feature in the Fitbit app that was advertised at launch, as well as a public version of Sleep Score (though a beta test is going on right now). Finally, Fitbit has announced that the Special Edition Fitbit Charge 3, the model with support for Fitbit Pay, is now available for purchase. As a reminder, the upgraded model allows you to pay for things from your wrist with Fitbit Pay, and comes with either a lavender woven band or white sport band.
