This week in Android: Moto Z3 and Lenovo Smart Display reviews, Xiaomi’s new sub-brand, and more

We have two new reviews hot off the press this week. Be sure to check out our review Lenovo’s first Smart Display, as well as our in-depth look at the Moto Z3, and a comparison to its rivals in the space. We took a look at the Oppo R17 and its snazzy way to do the notch. We also went hands-on with a new phone and sub-brand from Xiaomi — welcome to the Android world, Poco/Pocophone by Xiaomi (depending on where you live). Also, T-Mobile continued its Uncarrier ways this week, focusing on customer service. Big Magenta has promised to eliminate hold menus while waiting for service — no more pressing 1 for sales, 2 for technical support, and so on. Add to that, T-Mobile has some special deals in-store for its current subscribers and a way to test drive the network if you’re thinking about hopping on board. It was a good week to be a T-Mobile customer. We round it all off this week with a deep look at 5G, the history of the S Pen, and a new awareness of just how much you’re using your smartphone.
