Nokia teases phone launch on August 21, possibly Nokia 9

Nokia will unveil a new smartphone on August 21, according to the official Nokia Mobile Twitter account. Although we don’t know for certain which phone Nokia will launch, it’s probably the Nokia 9 (2018). The rumored Nokia 9 (2018) will be a flagship device that will compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S9. Today on Twitter, the official Nokia Mobile account tweeted a teaser image for some kind of smartphone launch. Although we can’t say for certain what’s coming because Nokia isn’t dishing any details, it appears to be for the Nokia 9 (2018). However, we heard earlier this year that HMD Global – which owns the Nokia mobile brand – has a flagship smartphone named the Nokia 9 (2018) in the works for release in September. Obviously, August 21 is before September, but it still stands to reason that the Nokia 9 (2018) is what’s coming.
