Update (04/24/18 at 09:23 A.M.): OnePlus is seemingly winding down sales of the OnePlus 5T in yet another country. This time, both Amazon’s Indian storefront and the OnePlus India website show the device as out of stock, Gadgets 360 reported.
All of these shortages, along with a sharp increase in rumors, suggest that the OnePlus 6 launch shouldn’t be far away.
Original article: Two weeks ago, we told you that the OnePlus 5T would no longer be sold in North America. OnePlus informed us that all the stock of the device created for the North American market is gone, and it would be too cumbersome to convert foreign versions to North American versions.
Now it looks like the United Kingdom will also lose the ability to buy the OnePlus 5T, at least directly from OnePlus.com. Unlike North America, the OnePlus 5T is sold by carriers in the U.K., which means that customers can still get the OnePlus 5T from those establishments. However, that stock is not likely to last very long since the OnePlus 6 announcement is imminent.
OnePlus started as a company determined to keep pricing low and value high. Its original invite-only system was designed to make sure every device manufactured would be sold. The invite system is now gone, but the company still keeps a tight leash on how many phones it creates for each market. After all, if you make 10 million phones, you have to sell 10 million phones.

If OnePlus only offers the OnePlus 6 going forward, buyers who may have wanted the notch-less, 5-month-old OnePlus 5T will have no choice but to buy second-hand or choose a different brand of phone.
The OnePlus 5T is the fastest-selling device in the history of the company and helped bring OnePlus to 48% market share in the premium smartphone segment in India. Time will tell whether or not the company will be able to sustain that momentum with the OnePlus 6, considering the number of Android enthusiasts who have already committed not to buy it based solely on the notched design.
