Moto Z2 Force launching in India this February with free TurboPower battery pack

Motorola reveals Moto Z2 Force will launch in India on February 15th. Each device comes with a free Moto TurboPower pack. Pricing and retailer availability has yet to be confirmed. Motorola has announced that it is bringing the Moto Z2 Force to the Indian market. The Lenovo-owned OEM will launch its rugged 2017 flagship in the region at an event on February 15th. The launch will be streamed live on YouTube over at the official Motorola India channel. Pricing and a retail date are likely to be revealed during the event, although thanks to an invite sent to Android Authority we do already know that each device will come bundled with the Moto TurboPower pack for free.Editor's PickMotorola in 2018: Bring on the wow factor From the high-end, modular Z2 models to the more affordable Moto C devices, Lenovo-owned Motorola had a busy 2017. According … As a quick refresher, the Moto Z2 Force features an all-metal unibody build constructed from ultra-tough aluminium for extra durability. It also offers Moto Mod support such as the aforementioned Moto TurboPower case which adds a further 3490 mAh of battery power to the existing 2,730 mAh cell. The Moto Z2 Force sports a 5.5-inch P-OLED display with a protective “Shattershield” and a 1440 x 2560 resolution, a front-facing fingerprint sensor, and a 12 MP + 12 MP dual-camera on the rear (f/2.0 aperture). The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. Motorola has been gradually rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo update via certain carriers in the US, but a global rollout is expected in the coming months. It’s worth noting that Motorola has recently come under fire from some Z2 Force users over a peeling issue with the Shattershield layer. Its decision to charge owners for necessary repairs hasn’t gone down well, however, it remains to be seen how widespread the problem is.
